What to Know as Winter Fades

March in West Virginia doesn’t always follow the calendar. One day feels like spring. The next feels like winter again.

These seasonal shifts are normal — and so are the temperature swings that come with them. As we transition out of winter, it’s a good time to make sure your propane system is ready for whatever early spring brings.

Simple End-of-Winter Checks

Check that your propane tank remains level and stable

Clear debris from around the tank and regulator

Make sure vents and exhaust areas are unobstructed

Request a delivery when your tank is down to 30% or at least 10 days before you expect to be low.

As snow melts and temperatures shift, take a few minutes to look around your system. These checks are easy, but effective!
